Huntington chair in different variants

The Vemcare Huntington chair is available in a number of variants.

Item codes various versions:

  • VH002: Mechanically adjustable with gas spring and footstool
  • VH003: Electrically adjustable with flexible legrest
  • VH004: Electrically adjustable with footstool

Huntington chair VH002

The Vemcare Huntington chair seat is manually adjustable. In order to do this, you need to put the chair on its side. With the help of two axes you can adjust the height of the seat of the chair.

This makes the distance between the seat and the armrests bigger or smaller. Also, the back is adjustable with a handle at the backside of the chair.

Including a footstool.

Vemcare has also developed an electrically adjustable version of the Vemcare Huntington chair. The construction has been adapted and reinforced. With two strong engines the following has been made possible:

  1. The backrest is electrically adjustable
  2. The seat is together with the backrest electrically adjustable, the seating angle remains the same.

The chair is easily controllable at every desired moment.

The VH004 is the most used version.

With two strong engines the following has been made possible:

  • The backrest is electrically adjustable
  • The seat is together with the backrest electrically adjustable, the seating angle remains the same.

The chair is easily controllable at every desired moment.  Due to the electrically adjustability of the seat, the backside of the seat simultaneously elevates with the backrest. The armrests remain on the floor. The SOS (Sta op Safe, Get up Safe system). With this, one gets the same functionality as a Get-Up chair. This eases the process of getting up from your chair tremendously. In addition, a transfer to a wheelchair becomes a lot easier and that relieves the nursing staff.

Including a footstool.

The remote control can be put in the pocket on either side of the chair. It’s also possible to put it in the pocket at the back of the chair, for the supporting staff or nurse. The leg-rest remains attached to the chair by means of the flap lock.
